Our vision
We envision a service where every young person feels safe, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.
Through nurturing relationships, meaningful opportunities, and a commitment to trauma-informed practice, we strive to equip young people with the emotional, social, and practical skills required for a successful adult life.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide high-quality care and support that prepares young people to understand and manage their past experiences while developing the skills, confidence, and resilience needed for independence. We place young people at the centre of all decision-making, encouraging them to take an active role in their planning, risk-taking, and choices as they prepare for life after care. Whether the aim is a return to family life or transition into independent living, we support young people to shape their own future with purpose and clarity.
Quality Education with Care Ltd – Organisational Overview
Quality Education with Care Ltd was founded in 2006 with a clear vision: to develop safe, effective, and high-quality provisions for some of the most vulnerable children and young people. The organisation was established by a team of founders driven by a shared commitment to improving residential and educational services, and to creating meaningful opportunities for children to address historic trauma and achieve positive, sustainable outcomes.
Following this vision, the organisation opened its flagship children’s home, Bryn Tirion Hall, in 2008. This marked the beginning of a period of sustained development within the children’s sector. Over time, services expanded to include additional residential placements across two provisions in Flintshire, as well as other child-centred relevant services.
Seventeen years on, Quality Education with Care Ltd now operates two children’s homes offering a total of nineteen placements within the Flintshire area. The organisation also runs an established, registered school that provides tailored education for the children living in our care.
In addition, the organisation has developed a comprehensive training department that supports the professional development of our internal workforce and offers expertise, training, and sector-specific learning opportunities to external partners across the wider children’s services sector.
Quality Education with Care Ltd remains committed to delivering high standards of care, education, and therapeutic support, ensuring that each child is provided with the stability, opportunity, and specialist input required to thrive.

Roger Chadwick
Training and Development Manager
I have twenty-five years’ experience working in both residential schools and children’s homes.
I began my career working in a residential school in Devon and after eight years, made the decision, along with some other like-minded individuals, to leave all that behind and move to North Wales to set up QEWC.
This began with the purchase of Bryn Tirion Hall back in 2006, and a two-year renovation project, eventually opening its doors to children and Local Authorities in 2008.
Since opening, QEWC has gone from strength to strength, supporting a huge number of children from Wales and England and achieving extremely positive outcomes along the way.
I have worked in all roles within QEWC, from a Residential Support Worker to Head of Care and from 2016 to 2023, I was the Registered Manager, supporting the children and staff at Bryn Tirion Hall, which is a fourteen bedded home.
More recently I have taken on the role of Training and Development Manager, with a focus on Behaviour Support across our services and school and delivering to external providers.
Since 2009, I have been a qualified Behaviour Support Trainer and have had the privilege of delivering training both internally to QEWC staff and externally to various Mainstream Schools, Pupil Referral Units, Newly Qualified Teachers, Children’s Homes and Local Authorities all over North Wales and the North of England. (+ProActive Approaches).
I hold the level 3 & 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care (CYP) and level 4 NVQ in Leadership and Management, alongside various other relevant qualifications.
Outside of work, I am a keen rugby fan, having played at various levels over the last thirty years, though recently made the decision to hang up my boots due to varying degrees of injury (all age related!!)
I enjoy playing and watching all sports and like to keep fit and active through a variety of activities, including regularly attending the gym.
